CCT 600 G Wanda Vista Istanbul Project

G Wanda Vista Istanbul is a hotel and residence tower in the Mahmutbey neighborhood of Bagcilar, on the European side of Istanbul. It stands on Tasocagi Yolu Caddesi, beside the Basin Ekspres motorway and about 700 meters south of the TEM motorway's Mahmutbey junction, and shares a podium with the G Yoo residential tower. The hotel opened on October 1, 2021, as Wanda Vista Istanbul, the first Wanda Vista hotel in Europe and the first hotel that China's Wanda Hotels & Resorts manages outside China.

The project is developed by Mar Yapi, an Istanbul developer founded in 2006 whose other projects include G Tower, G Rotana, G Yoo, G Marin, G Beyond, G Hub and G Plus Divan Residence. Mar Yapi developed the hotel and residences jointly with Wanda Hotels & Resorts, part of China's Dalian Wanda Group, under an agreement signed in 2017, and Wanda manages them. The developer's catalog credits the architecture to Suyabatmaz Demirel Architects and the hotel and residence interiors to the Wanda Design Institute; the neighboring G Yoo tower carries the design of Philippe Starck.

The complex has two towers joined by a podium. One is G Yoo, which the developer describes as sold out; the other tower and the podium hold G Wanda Vista Istanbul. According to the developer's catalog, 320 residences fill the top 32 floors of the hotel tower, and Wanda's opening announcement of October 2021 lists 127 hotel guestrooms and 320 fully equipped serviced apartments. The residences are run by the hotel's staff and share the hotel's services and facilities. The developer's material gives no land area.

The building is complete and in operation. The developer's list, dated 2024, offers fully furnished hotel suites of about 70 to 90 sqm gross, with their title deeds ready. The catalog shows the residences as one-bedroom homes with an open-plan living room and kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. Within that size range, the Lotus layout measures 73 sqm gross, with an entrance, a 15.1 sqm living room with kitchen, a 15.4 sqm bedroom and a hall leading to the bathroom; the Shui layout measures 90.2 sqm gross, with a 21.3 sqm living room with kitchen, a 14.8 sqm bedroom and a 6.4 sqm bathroom.

According to Wanda's announcement, the spa and fitness areas cover 2,600 sqm in total, with a fitness center, a yoga room, a spa with a Turkish bath, an outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool. The hotel's photos also show a sauna, a steam room, massage rooms and a boxing ring. There are four restaurants and bars, among them the all-day Cafe De Vista and the Bistro De Vista lobby lounge, as well as a 450 sqm grand ballroom, three function rooms, a kids club and a concierge service.

Mahmutbey station on the M3 and M7 metro lines is about 1.6 km east, and the MASKO and Halkali Caddesi stations of the M9 line are each about 1.2 km away in a straight line. The developer's catalog puts Mall of Istanbul about 2 minutes away by car, Starcity Outlet 5 minutes, the Istoc trade center 10 minutes, CNR Expo 12 minutes and Atakoy 15 minutes. Istanbul Airport is about 33 km by road (the developer says 30 km), and Sabiha Gokcen Airport about 71 km.
