Description
Luxera Meydan is a shopping street with two residential towers above it at Maslak Caddesi No. 7 in the Goztepe neighborhood of Bagcilar, in the Mahmutbey area on the European side of Istanbul. It stands next to Mahmutbey metro station, where Bosna Caddesi, Inonu Caddesi and Maslak Caddesi meet. This listing covers the project's shops and kiosks; the apartments in the towers are not part of it.
The project was built by Luxera GYO, formerly Luxera Gayrimenkul, on a plot of about 10,874 sqm. Its two towers, A and B, each rise 26 stories: three basement levels, a ground floor and 22 residential floors. The developer's brochure gives 242 homes and a two-level shopping street, with a car park for 425 cars. According to a 2025 valuation report prepared for the developer, the car park and common areas are on the second and third basements, the shops on the first basement and the ground floor, and the homes on the floors above.
Luxera Meydan is completed. The same valuation report records a building permit of June 2017 and an occupancy permit of October 2020. The shopping street is open, with some units already in use and others still empty in the developer's photos.
The shops line a curving, S-shaped open courtyard with planted islands. The Upper Street (Ust Cadde) is at ground level on the side of the metro entrance, and the Lower Street (Alt Cadde) lies one level down and opens onto Maslak Caddesi, where a stepped plaza with a fountain and landscaping leads in from the sidewalk. Escalators, a glass lift, footbridges and stairs link the two levels, and the shopfronts are fully glazed under stone-clad facades.
The developer's plans show shops of many sizes on both levels, a large supermarket unit at the north end of the Lower Street and small kiosks in the courtyard. The developer's price list offers four shops of about 143 to 396 sqm gross on the Lower and Upper Streets, two kiosks of 3.75 sqm each on the Lower Street and two small units of about 8 and 12 sqm on the car park level.
Mahmutbey station is served by the M3 metro line and by the M7 line toward Mecidiyekoy in Sisli, and the developer's brochure counts a third, planned line toward Bahcesehir. The developer also marks a Havaist airport bus stop at Mahmutbey. The valuation report puts the TEM motorway about 1 km away as the crow flies and the Basin Ekspres road about 2.8 km away. The Istoc wholesale market, Medipol Mega University Hospital, Altinbas University and Mall of Istanbul are in the surrounding area, and Istanbul Airport is about 32 km away by road.
